Z FEVER!

Today is publication day for Z – A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald
by Therese Anne Fowler. The week has been a whirlwind of publicity with rave
reviews in People and Entertainment Weekly, O Magazine and Elle, and features in the Wall Street Journal, NPR, USA Today and Travel and Leisure.. The Huffington Post called it the “one of the most anticipated books of the year, “ and that has proven to be true.

Ninety-three years ago today ( yes, today!) F. Scott Fitzgerald’s debut novel This Side of Paradise was published by Scribners. The new Great Gatsby film starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan opens May 10 (you knew that, right?) .
So Z Fever continues. I hope it will last a good long time.

I’d like to offer a big shout out of thanks to our brilliant editor Hope Dellon and the fantastic team at St. Martins Press. Join us for a glass of champagne in honor Therese Anne Fowler and Z. Zelda would certainly approve. Cake anyone?

Z is an accessible, entertaining read with a good period flavour. Rather than being ‘a novel of Zelda Fitzgerald’, though, it’s a novel about some of Zelda Fitzgerald.
